Every parent of a child in Marine Park Soccer is an UNPAID VOLUNTEER including those on the board.  Whether you're a coach, referee, field painter, team parent, or hold any of the other necessary volunteer positions, our role is to provide the athletic environment that nurtures the physical, and emotional well being of our children, as they grow socially through their interaction with others.  What does that mean???   It means that we parents provide everything our children need to:
- enjoy membership on a uniformed team, playing a competitive sport with real equipment,
- have the opportunity to meet new friends, and experience new things, 
- exercise as they learn new skills that will develop both their mind and body, 
- make every Marine Park Soccer experience one to look forward to ...and remember. 

We do not care about W-L records, and frown upon the "slaughtering" of the other team.   We want our teams to be equally matched, and our kids to look forward to, and enjoy playing a hard fought soccer game against their peers , with little or no regard for whether they've won or lose.   Its the act of our kids playing, that we care about the most.
